Rip off merchants £270 for oven cleaning at 11 tudor court while the average from a professional cleaning company is £50-£70

Good morning, It seems there might be a slight misunderstanding regarding the recent deduction. I've tried to reach you by phone to discuss this. Just to clarify, the sum we deducted for the oven cleaning was £60, not the £270 you mentioned. Please feel free to call me on 01260 271255, or you can email me directly at tom@timothyabrown.co.uk, so we can clear this up. Many thanks, Tom Brown

Cooker cleaning £270 at 11 tudor court really at this astronomical cost I would have spent a week cleaning it but no they took it out of my deposit, not a good way of doing business

Got quotes coming from various oven cleaning experts in the area so far the most expensive is £100 good job I took photographic evidence on my departure

I don’t recommend if on benefits or disabled, I’ve noticed and have done tests to make sure with my partner account and my own, I mentioned I was on benefits my partner did not.. guess who was told “to many viewings or house is let” but my partner got offered viewings but we mentioned benefits and we never got a response back on a time to view just fully ignored.. I’ve read some similar reports and will ask Citizen advice if I can report this company or take any legal action as it’s discrimination.

If you on any benefits or unfit to work due to your disability do not try this this it’s a joke, countless times for 2 years I’ve applied to housing with this company many on houses that came up within the hour and I get emails saying “unfortunately to many people interested” the only time I get a viewing is when I don’t mention I’m on benefits or disabled until I’m at the final step and tell them due to legal reasons and never heard back. Disgusting behaviour.

Appalling service I received and disgusting treatment by Timothy brown, no work ethics and no morals in dealing with clients. I have put an offer to a house and it was accepted in April, then after four months of waiting to complete the purchase, the agent said the developer can’t meet the requirement by Home England to get help to buy loan, and they would like to withdrew the sell and put the house back on the marker. I knew it was a game and they might would like more money or someone offered more. The agent was very unprofessional, unhelpful and not experienced. Communication was bad and they have no loyalty to their clients. After 4 months of waiting, they simply threw me away and ruined my plan to move the house that I liked. I am in process to make a formal complaints to the property Ombudsman and to Home England against the Developer! Be careful with whom you dealing with!!!!

There have clearly been some events which have lead to your dissatisfaction and I would like the opportunity to investigate into these. I will arrange to contact you direct to discuss the points you have raised and in the meantime I must apologise for any distress this has caused. Kind Regards Tom Brown

As like most estate agents they will force you into a silent auction so you have to guess the price the vender wants rather than clear negotiating between the vender and buyer.
