J&P Brimlow, very efficient. Good valuation, quick video and description of the property, advised caution over one offer and backed a second offer a week later. It all went very smoothly with them. Definitely recommend. But the star of the show is Jodie, the Chorlton Office Manager. The sale of our flat to a mortgage ready, chain free, vendor took 5 months due to solicitors delays as not considered a priority as beneath the stamp duty holiday value. From day one, Jodie responded immediately to emails, which became more and more tense in May and June as we realised we were about to lose our new purchase (which could take advantage of the stamp duty holiday, but had significantly more consideration than money). The flat we were selling had been empty of furniture from mid-May and the new vendor homeless since around that time. Everyone was frustrated, I was ringing our solicitors almost daily. Jodie was magnificent in liaising between all parties and assisting getting the solicitors moving. We exchanged and completed 2 days before exchanging on our new property which completed 2 days later. Without Jodie's assistance we would undoubtedly have lost this purchase. Minutes after receiving confirming of completion from our solicitors, Jodie rang me to advise and offer congratulations. I was overwhelmed and she was great. We had a chat and she said she "was just doing my job" although counselling and emotional support often came into that role - and she's good at it.
