the worst agency I've ever been to. i will never take them out again flat !!!???? much is not true of what they say!
Have just been rang approximately 3 weeks after I scheduled an advanced valuation request for the 26th October to be told albeit politely that "CJ Hole based on current demands are wishing to place their focus on houses and not flats- this is where the demand is currently at". Approx 3 weeks earlier having completed the form on their website i was rang and told that they are swamped by demand and to try elsewhere as there are no appointments over the next couple of weeks. I politely informed them that if they check their booking system they will see that i have booked for around 6 weeks time. "Oh sorry - i was told, our calendar system doesn't work so it hadn't told us what date you were interested in". I will leave others to decide whether they feel this level of service is professional or not but for me Its akin to a taxi driver at Heathrow airport deciding that your short trip fare is not worth it as they'd rather pick up a more lucrative passenger. That's fine but this is a 2-way street - perhaps others will vote with their feet, as CJ Hole clearly value some business more than others......I will cancel the accommodation i had booked and will no longer head 100+ miles out of my way to help my vulnerable mother who is in residential care since CJ Hole would rather enrich themselves with a more lucrative portfolio. ***CJ Hole has replied with "Our database of buyers is not the best fit for your property, and it is only right and proper to communicate this honestly from the outset. We wish you good luck with your mother's sale."*** Except that you didn't communicate that - perhaps you should listen to your recorded calls. You stated that your focus is now on houses not flats and at no time did you say or allude to "our database of buyers is not the best fit". Considering you haven't seen the property which is a 2 bed centrally located apartment with no onward chain you obviously care more about your reputational damage and less about acting ethically. You currently have apartments on sale for as little as £99,000 so the idea that that your appealing to a certain demographic is frankly delusions of grandeur.***
I was absolutely sadly suprised of theirs service. Left me without heating and no hot water for 5 days in autumn. I had to phone for engineers on my own to fix the boiler. Always had to contact them to get an answer or to be informed. If you raise an issue after their working hours they absolutely don't care, no metter how bad situation it is. Highly do not recommend.
Spoke to one of your colleagues regarding a property and was told I would need a guarantor or 12 months rent due to my partner being self employed. If I had 12 months rent upfront I wouldn’t be renting, I’d be buying. Very poor. Was told it wouldn’t pass government checks - not sure where they are getting this information but they are wrong and this is discrimination. Couldn’t get me off the phone fast enough and even hung up before I said bye. Would not recommend for such poor attitude.
Awful company. We spent thousands on a dirty house in Marsh gardens that they didn’t clean prior to us moving in, and they had the cheek to send us a cleaning bill.. I wish I could upload pictures!! Don’t go with them, they will do anything to take your deposit. We were begged for a 2nd viewing because no one wanted the property. 28 people wanted it within 2hrs of it being online, for more money may I add!!! Absolute money grabbers. They let out a 2 bed house with a driveway for 2 cars, on both viewings they made me park on the neighbours drive. Moved in and we had 1 space. Gardens looked like kingsditch tip, carpets looks like someone took a dump in the corner and smudged it everywhere. The washing machine was like something from the 70s and suprised it didn’t walk itself to the bin. Cooker was rotten and so was the fridge freezer. We couldn’t move in until the downstairs was ripped up. We spent £1000+ on wooden flooring throughout, my partner is a painter a decorator and painted throughout the whole house, the gardens were re fenced and redone, the driveway was sorted out. I had to scrub everything before we could bring our things in... And they billed us £84 for cleaning the house ie- wiping down 2 light switches. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOUR WANTING TO RENT A PROPERTY!!!!

After Molly Sharp, withheld crucial information which would have aided landlord making a decision prior to viewing the property and then meeting the landlord. I have withdrawn from the most amazing property due to the lack of communication of correct information and no proffesionalism. Full details will be sent to manager in due course
