2 days nobody answered their phone

Not a good experience. especially near the end of my tenancy. I was asked by a member of staff if I had changed my lock ( which I did not). She explained that a surveyor had try to let himself in and the key didn't work. He tried to enter without my permission. Hes lucky he didn't let himself in because working nights I was in bed. Martin and co you need to do a health and safety risk assessment. If I had woken up and found a stranger walking around. His health and safety should have been at risk

Awful company with disgustingly high fees, incredibly poor customer service and extremely rude staff. Avoid dealing with these people! Shocking.

The worst agency ever, you get nothing but promises, when I insisted on fixing the faulty appliances, they were so rude. And the call centre is a joke, they never call you back.. They THANKED me and hanged up without hearing from me!!!l

We only provided a Tenant Find service for the property you moved into and you have not dealt with us since you moved into the property which was back in December 2015. Horrendous - keep away. Tenants - please be aware that the ‘Independent inventory company’ is a shell company run by Mike Shrubshall’s (the manager’s) wife and therefore not independent at all. You can see evidence of this on the Companies House website. Take your own photos if you are a tenant. They do not have the slightest care in the world about their tenants, outrightly lie and ignore all requests to make basic essential repairs for weeks and appear to require you to state intention to sue and enforcement from environmental health to actually do anything at all.

Thank you for mentioning Inventories, we do get asked a lot about these. They are an essential part of the moving process. Martin & Co have created a product that is based on over 10 years and 4,000 tenancies worth of experience, fully trained, comprehensive. Your comment on independent is relevant and an important one as most people get this bit wrong. Anyone can carry out an inventory and there is no standard format as all documents the DPS receive are different. The DPS adjudicate the information based on the evidence presented and require the content to be accurate as apposed to who put together i.e landlord, agent or inventory company. Our Inventories have been designed to clarify in line with the tenant and housing act's definition of wear and tear and a clear menu of pricing on what can and cant be charged for. Most Estate Agents employ third parties and part time workers with little or no experience of the property, with ours we see the property before the tenancy, during and at the end. Disputes are kept to a minimum and help to close down tenancies quicker. They have proved so successful that we carry them out on behalf of other companies and landlords.
