Terrible at paying their maintenance Contractors. Recently stiffed a local company over nearly £500

Not something we wanted this to come to. They’ve owed us for a waste disposal job 4 weeks ago. We cleaned up an area that had human feaces that they were supposed to maintain, so the council stepped & gave them a warning. What you can’t see in the hole it was 3-4 pallets high of waste & feaces as someone bricked up which made it fill up & waste pipes were draining in to it. 3 companies refused to work with them to clean it up but out of respect we used to have for Henry the Director of Martin & Co Cardiff. (which we no longer have for him as he can’t even answer the phone or call back) We didn’t want to leave this Review but sadly they owe us £575. I had to pay 3 Staff & the waste disposal charge which came to £492 We were only making £83 as we didn’t realise how bad this job was but didn’t want to increase the bill as we thought we had a good relationship with them. But clearly not. Don’t bother contacting us again as we no longer want to be in contact that has run its course, once the invoice has been cleared we will take this down.

I enquired about a property they had for sale on Rightmove. A lady answered the phone and introduced myself by saying, "Hello Darling, my name's Ellis, I'm calling about a property you have up for sale on Rightmove and was wondering if I get some more information" She replied with "Did you just call me darling? Did you think I am your wife?" - firstly I don't think addressing somebody as darling is specifically associated with love or affection and definitely didn't think it an improper use of the word. But I apologise if I offended. Secondly, she went on to talk in a disgruntled tone with me when I asked some questions about the property and then mid way through the conversation, hung up the phone. I have never dealt with any business, person, or professional that has presented themselves in such a way.

Have failed to address a leak for weeks at one of the properties they manage, causing escalating damage to the property and to others. Rude to deal with by email. I would advise landlords not to use them.

Very rude on the phone. Tried to book a viewing. The employee did not want to hear me speak for a minute. She kept repeating that I should send an email like a robot even before I asked a single question. When she finally let me ask my simple question about the property I wanted to see, she referred me to the pictures of the property. Thankfully, I have eyes and I can see that the pictures do not provide any answer either and this is why I called in the first place. If that is the treatment before even starting any process with them, I will let you imagine how bad it might be if you decide to rent a property managed by them.

Worst lettings we've ever dealt with , very rude on the phone , could never sort things out with them. They told the landlady that we missed rent one month when we had proof of paying it, alot of things not done by the book, I could go on and on but I'd be here a while! extremely unprofessional, I would not recommend this business to anyone!

Very unprofessional Chloe Webber the so called letting manager shouldn’t be a manager she was so unprofessional and rude calling me a liar about an email that was sent from her so much so I had to email it back to her to show her when she just couldn’t own up to her mistake and apologise I would never use again and recommend to stay clear
