He went above and above for us to secure a place at the property and we all very much appreciate his efforts. We cannot recommend Belvoir, and Rhys in particular, highly enough. Despite currently living about 3-4 hours from Cardiff, Rhys took time to talk to the owners on our behalf before setting up a viewing time that suited our travel requirements. He was thoroughly friendly and professional throughout, and we really feel that he understood our needs and helped us to secure such a high quality property that suits us down to the ground.

We rented with Belvoir for a year (due to personal circumstances we had to move otherwise we would have stayed indefinitely). I've been renting for over 12 years and they are the best agency I have ever used. Most letting agents are great at getting you through the door and then it falls down when it comes to the property management side. We all know what its like having to chase agencies/landlords for weeks for simple answers or to get any kind of repairs. Belvoir wasn't like this at all! They were also really forthcoming with information, so if it was your first time renting then you'd have everything you'd need and you wouldn't get caught out. Our property manager Julie had great knowledge of the house and was always very responsive to any email we'd send her. We'd typically have a reply the same day for non urgent issues and if it was urgent we'd get a phone call within the hour and then a follow up email to confirm what we discussed. If repairs or work was needed, Julie was able to get agreement from the landlords and contractors booked very quickly. We never had to really push for repairs or fixes to be done either. Belvoir took a lot of care of the property so are quite proactive when it comes to stuff like this - evidenced by how well maintained the house was before we moved in. Some examples: - Shower started leaking quite a bit on a Sunday evening. Contractor was at the house the following Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning to fix. - Fuse board for the whole house started tripping and then stopped working. Reported first thing in the morning and a contractor came out same day to resolve. - Blocked drain over a B/H weekend. We followed their OOH procedure and their contractors advised to book DynoRod who sorted the situation quickly and we emailed Julie to let her know. First thing Tuesday morning Julie was in touch to follow up with what had happened and the money (nearly £300) was reimbursed to our account by the Thursday/Friday. When it came to moving out, that was really easy as well. Julie gave us a checklist and everything. Within 2 days of handing back the keys they confirmed that we'd get the full deposit back and within a week of that the deposit was in our account. These guys are what the renting experience should be like, so if you were thinging of renting I would 10/10 recommend.
