I engaged with Miles and Barr from the beginning of my home search and was shown around properties by a very diligent young chap who'd clearly done his homework on the properties and actually had answmiers to my questions. It was evident he had met with the seller and got some vital information pertaining to the renovation work that had been done, so this was an excellent viewing experience. From there, when I wished to make an offer, I was sent in the direction of Amanda Ennis who got me sorted out with a mortgage offer, legal support and all the requisite insurance policies I'd need to proceed with the purchase of my first home. To be honest, I didn't (and still don't) know much about the process, so having Amanda handle it all for me and go with Miles and Barr's partners was a no-brainer for me. I am sure it worked out more expensive this way, but I would just far prefer to rely on that network of specialists handling things. Most importantly, as we started to get bogged down in the legal business, Suzanne Bearden of Miles and Barr was a terrific resource for me to keep me updated, keep my rage levels down and to act as a go-between between me and the seller. We were in nearly constant contact and even on her days off, Suzanne was happy to take a call from me. I think even during a period of illness, she was available to me, too. I cannot thank Suzanne enough for her sterling work.

From the start M&B were very clear as to value and process. We took advantage of the "Market Ready" option so that all the agreed details and marketing information was done in advance as we weren't ready to actually start the selling process. The marketing brochure and website details were second to none and the 360 degree video is brilliant. We received an acceptable offer within a week so very pleased. From then on we had a project manager / Liaison Agent who smoothed the way through for us with other solicitors and estate agents. That appointment was crucial for us and saved us so much time ourselves in what always is an unknown and stressful process. We had great confidence in her. Now sold and we're about to move. We’ve had fantastic service from Miles and Barr from start to finish. We initially were going to sell with a smaller firm but the valuer Jack really impressed us with what Miles and Barr had to offer. His excellent communication skills and consistent (but not pushy) approach sealed the deal and we are so grateful to him and the rest of the Miles and a Barr team as they sold our house very fast which put us in a great position when finding our dream home. Everyone we interacted with was professional, friendly and helpful (Rebecca, Harry, Hannah, Chelsea to name a few). They promised they’d help us find a property we loved within our budget and they certainly did! James the Ramsgate branch manager is brilliant at what he does and closed each deal smoothly between my buyer and our seller. I’d 100% recommend using the solicitors and mortgage advisor they recommend too as everything has been so smooth. Aggi the mortgage advisor worked so hard to secure us a good deal and when there were delays with the insurance company Sam kept me sane with his reassurance and updates and Gary sorted out new home insurance on the day of his own house move! Nothing was too much trouble for any person we spoke to, even on the day of completion we had issues with our removal company and they stepped in with reassurance and offers of solutions! Absolutely outstanding estate agents whom we feel are game changers in the field. They’re efficient, reliable and their customer service is fantastic.
