In July, I did an online valuation with Tristrams after searching on Google for "the best estate agents in Nottingham." Tristrams, with a few others, came up in that search. I decided to do their online valuation, which was easy enough to do and gave me an instant result. I didn't contact them because I'd never heard of them before, and decided to contact a couple of the more popular and well-known estate agents - of which only one showed up to do a valuation. I then got a call from Liam from Tristrams, who had followed up on the back of my online valuation enquiry. He was very professional and courteous. I explained our situation and why we needed to sell my brother's house, who was extremely ill and needed to go into a care home. The property was in a bad state and required selling as soon as possible to secure a place in a care home. What can I say about how Tristrams, Liam (the sales valuer) and Talia (senior sales negotiator) dealt with the valuation and selling of the property at a time when my family and I were struggling with my brother's illness? We did not expect that much kindness and sensitivity to our circumstances and needs. I was embarrassed at the state of the house, but Liam didn't even bat an eyelid when he did his valuation. He gave us advice on the best course of action. Once we decided to appoint Tristrams, they arranged viewings. They oversaw them so we did not have to be at the house and contacted known property developers who might be interested in renovating an old property. They advised us every step of the way. We had a lot to deal with as my brother was in and out of the hospital, and at times his condition was touch and go. Tristrams were made aware of this from the start, and they were always very patient with us, constantly updating us on the progress of each viewing and offer, which was sometimes ridiculously below the asking price. As a last attempt, they advised that we put it back to auction to see if we could get a better price, and that is what we did. The house was sold at auction, and we got close to the initial asking price. My family and I cannot thank Liam and Talia enough. I know it's in their interest to deliver a good service, but we felt they did more than just their job of selling a property, they were magnificent, and I highly recommend them. From start to finish, we could not have asked for more. They exceeded our expectations, and we will be eternally grateful for their help. Estate agents tend to have a bad reputation, and I was not looking forward to dealing with any of them, but in this instance, Tristrams were the best estate agent for the job.

Luke from Tristrams was extremely helpful, proactive, and responsive. He took time and the initiative to understand and meet our needs. He helped me secure the property that was most suitable for us in the timing that was just perfect for our family.

Had a bit of a nightmare with our first estate agents reached out to Tristams and they were great. Managed to get our house listed in a matter of days and achieved more viewings in the couple of day than we got with Yopa in the first couple of weeks! Talia and Liam were both excellent! Throughout our house purchase, she has been efficient and worked hard to help us move things along quickly.
