I bought the house I just sold with Whitegates over 10 years ago. I now live overseas so it was easier for me to use someone I’d had a positive experience with before. I phoned on the off chance and spoke with Tom Simpson. I was up front with him straight away and told him I did not want any b***s*it. I lived overseas so I did not want any hassle. Tom gave a really fair and realistic valuation of the house. I had about 15 viewings within about 2-3 weeks. And I got a realistic offer within about 3 weeks. Unfortunately through absolutely no fault ofTom/Whitegates the sale took the best part of six months. During this time Tom- and I think the manager- James literally could not have done anything more. Tom especially kept me up to date every day/week or whatever it took and I knew he felt as frustrated as I did with the lack of professionalism and contact from the solicitor. About 3/4 moths ago the buyers brought up an issue with the roof. Tom went to the property the day the roofers were there and sent me pics on WhatsApp which I really appreciated. Could not fault Tom at all. When he was on days off James Lacken stepped up and kept me up to date. Throughout this transaction - which took probably 2-3 months longer than it should have. I would never have known this, too. Remained professional, courteous and completely upbeat through Highly recommended

I cannot recommend Whitegates Sefton enough. Tom and James have been nothing but helpful, understanding, patient and efficient since day one. Our solicitor wasn't the most helpful or the greatest at communication at times, however, Tom and James went above and beyond at keeping us updated and ensuring our purchase went as smooth as possible. A difficult situation for me based in Spain, helping my elderly father who is house bound sell our old family home in Litherland. We have just bought our first house through whitegates sefton, I have to say we didn't know much about what we were doing but Cameron and Tom were amazing with helping us out and talking us through everything. They were always on the other end of the phone if we had questions about anything and went above and beyond for us. Would definitely recommend whitegates!

Can't really fault Tom or Cam at Whitegates. Communicated with weekly check-ins at the end of each week while we were getting the purchase off the ground, to see how we were getting on and let the sellers know. Then helped with any additional resources we needed to get through to completion. Managed to get the sale through in just under 8 weeks. Which is pretty good these days.

Tom was really helpful from the get go. From when i decided to put my house on the market he explained everything to me so I understood the process. The first buyer pulled out near the end of the process and Tom reassured me they would get another buyer, which they did straight away. Sale all went straight forward this time and completed today.
