Overall a good experience and my particular thanks to Tom who effectively ran point on the sale and remained professional throughout. Communication at times was a bit difficult but you also need to consider this against the back drop of a very busy estate agents (understandibly so!) who are working hard to satisy the wants and needs of all their customers.
I have recently just bought a house through white gates! Camron and Tom helped me and got things pushing through! Very friendly and approachable. My only flaw would be the solicitors recommendation I found them super slow and lack of communication between sellers and buyers solicitors which caused a-bit of frustration. But it still went through in a reasonable amount of time after pushing.
I found them to be very helpful positive and informative.
Helpful up until the day of completion - called to let us know that they were shutting early for a funeral, and told us to sort out things between ourselves. Totally unprofessional and poor customer service. Still waiting for the sign to be removed from the front garden.
So for some reason my previous review isn't showing, luckily i have several emails and want to make sure people aren't being ripped off. what the manager of this branch cant seem to grasp is that unfortunately for him his staff have not been acting professionally. when one of your agents tells me face to face that a property has been taken off of the market because it failed its survey don't tell me that its never had a survey before. and then when your staff are calling asking for feedback from a viewing and they get told "I'll do you one better id like to make offer of xyandz" Is your agent then responding with "well i still think you could get springfield" even though somebody had already made a higher offer on the previous property so we were told that she'd lost the property as a result.... did the higher offer not exist? why are your reps still pushing for the sale of a house thats already under offer? surely thats bad business practice to actively try to gazump people. why when these properties have accepted an offer are your agents still hosting viewings? and why are you accepting an offer on a property and then proceeding to fail to report that back to the seller? you've now put a property back on the market for higher than the agreed price even though it's failed its survey in 13 separate areas just last week, are you simply out to waste peoples time or are you more interested in selling properties thats aren't fit for use. a roof replacement and render replacement would cost upwards of £15,0000 so dropping the price by 5k is insulting, wouldn't you agree? asking me to remove my review because i'm not a direct customer is insane, a review is based on a persons experience, i have had my mother in law on the phone nearly daily in tears because she's been messed out by you so much and now she's hundreds of pounds out of pocket paying for a survey on property that you knew was going to come back failed. that is my experience, all of this is based on MY experience with your company.
Not impressed with the customer service given by this branch they are very unprofessional to a family member when trying to buy a new house. Even the manager was just as bad as the his staff. To your reply my name is not Lydia
Awful Experience.! Spoke to Tom who needs to learn how to speak to customer, Rude and condescending, speaks over you. would suggest Training is needed. will not be buying any houses from Whitegates again.
Michelle, unprofessional, a theif and scam artist. Taking deposit money off tenants for no reason and blame the landlords that are their clients. Took our deposit off us over redecoration costs yet put the property back up for rent with how we decorated the property. Property was left in an immaculate condition and the rent was never late but we still got our deposit took off us by these money grabbers. Avoid any rental properties from whitegates as you'll only ever hear from them when they want more money off you. Whitegates never followed up any repairs that were reported on property by their own staff. Would avoid at all costs very unprofessional and rude.
