I rent through Nicholas Humphrey. Sahil Bhardwaj was friendly and helpful when showing around houses, and Stephanie Gray was incredibly invaluable when we had trouble with our electricity. Our landlord is incredibly hands off, so I am glad we've had Nicholas Humphrey to turn to when we've had issues with our house.

Writing as (first time) landlord. In brief, I have no hesitation in recommending Nicholas Humpreys as rental agents. Friendly service, reliable, explain everything in plain language, non pushy, and competitive on price. Being new to being a landlord, I contacted most of the estate agents in Norwich and received very poor experiences until I spoke with Steph at Nicholas Humphreys (NH). When you contact NH, you get greeted by a friendly human. Not an auto response telling you to press dozens of options before getting an answerphone like some others. When I explained what I wanted to do, Steph listened and answered all my questions in simple terms that I could understand. She didn’t try and make me take services I didn’t want or tie me into long contracts. For the viewings, Sam came and took photos and offered sensible advice and made sure of the regulatory requirements but didn’t pressurise me to use their contractors unless I wanted to. Once the applications were in, again no pressure to select a particular applicant. The contracts were written in plain English so understood all the terms. Nothing hidden in p714, paragraph 14, subsection k7. And finally, once the tenants moved in, another named contact (Sahil) to look after the finances. So every step of the way, there has been someone who is easy to contact, professional advice when you speak to them and collectively they work as an excellent team who will look after you.

Excellent communication throughout the tenancy including rapid responses to any issues encountered within the house. I would recommend Nicholas Humphrey’s to be a tenant of as their use of the tenancy deposit scheme and maintenance website made the tenancy comfortable. Our points of contact were Steph and Bradley so kudos to both.

When we first started thinking about renting out our property, we contacted a few management companies, including Sam at Nicholas Humphreys in Norwich. My husband said that he had a good feeling about Sam and once he arrived and was very patient and helpful with all of our questions and was genuinely happy to help with everything, we quickly cancelled our other meetings as it just felt that this was the right company for us. After our initial meeting with Sam, Steph came over to take some photos and to have a chat with us about the agreement and was again, very helpful and patient with us! She has been an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout and has always been super friendly and responsive. Even bringing us biscuits on a stressful 'key handover day!'
