Megan is marvellous! I ve been trying to find a house to buy locally but living 4 hours drive away it is not easy. I ve dealt with a lot of estate agents in the six weeks I ve been looking and a lot of them are good, especially the Webbers staff, but Megan is a notch above. Just had a deal fall through and having looked previously at an interesting property with Megan back in January which is still on the market she got in touch. She is not at all 'pushy'' she is friendly and interested in me as a buyer but also not forgetting she is putting the case for the seller. I phoned her personally to let her know I ve made an offer on somewhere else (it is through Webbers though this time at least) but I wanted to compliment her excellent service; I firmly believe she is a gem and deserves recognition.

Very poor experience wanted to view a property that came on the market they came up with obstacles for me not to view wont comment on here as to why

We didn't have a great experience with webbers they made a stressful situation harder and even ask on the move day for more money to cover the oil left in the oil fuel tank, when we finally got in we found out the tank was empty not great strvice.

We rented a property from Webber's for nearly 4 years. They didn't make any attempts to fix issues that we highlighted to them before moving in or during the tenancy, increased our rent when the 13 year old built in washing machine broke 2 years into the tenancy and then when we moved out tried to charge us for non existent damages and threatened us with legal action when we wouldn't agree to pay for the repairs! We had to go through the tenancy deposit protection scheme in the end. Also bear in mind if you rent from Webbers you will be forced into having maintenance inspections every 3 months! We explicitly stated we wanted to be home every time (who would want a complete stranger waltzing through their home unattended?) and they would just let them selves in anyway. Completely unacceptable in my view. I have rented numerous houses all over the UK, both privately and from management companies and Webbers has by a country mile been the worst experience I have had. We have just bought our first house and my experience of dealing with Webbers as a company was bad enough that I would not even look at houses advertised for sale by them.

Dear Mr Watson, Any repairs that you notified us of were dealt with quickly and in a timely fashion; including works during the tenancy that you were liable for but the landlord paid for as “goodwill”. You did accept that there were damages at the end of the tenancy after you referred to the TDS and you will recall that the TDS deposit scheme made deductions from to your deposit to cover the cost of those damages along with redecoration and cleaning. Ultimately you have a responsibility to treat the property with care; we make no apologies for costs charged to you when there are breaches of your obligations as tenant. Any property visits without tenants being present are conducted with advance warning, in accordance with the terms of the tenancy agreement and with permission having been provided to do so.
