I would like to mention that the staff of M&B were always ready to help at every step of the journey to buying the property. There was always someone at the other end of the phone call willing to talk you through professionally even when the person you called originally called is not on seat. I really appreciate their tolerance of our gross ignorance as first time buyers.

It was pleasant working with Miles Barr in my house purchase.

I had a really bad experience during the negotiation process - as a first time buyer I felt pressured and uncomfortable. I was lied to by the agent (Joe Bull) . He was very rude and I even caught him in a lie regarding the seller (and how they wouldn't want to sell to me) after I mentioned a crack in the wall - one that the seller pointed out to me themselves. This made me lose all trust in him and worried me about the entire process. I felt that my naivety was exploited as a first time buyer. I get it's the intention of the agent to get as much money out of the buyer, but what happened to empathy and kindness? However, after the offer was accepted I was transferred to a new agent who saw me through the solicitor/enquiry/completion process. They replied to all emails promptly and even during the late evening which made me feel as though they were going above and beyond for me. (Louise Daly). She made me feel really comfortable and listened to. Thank you Louise for saving my first house buying experience, just such a shame Joe made the experience so sour.

I viewed one house with them and now they send me daily emails about "Property Matches". The unsubscribe button in their emails doesn't work as I've clicked it about 10 times. I've also contacted them directly via their website asking them to remove me, to which they never responded

Unfortunately, I would not recommend Miles & Barr estate agents in Ashford. My experience with them has been frustrating from the start. They consistently avoided my calls—something I could only get around by calling from a private number. … More

My requests to view or enquire about properties are ignored for 2+ weeks and I only get a copy paste message once the property is taken. I have had this with all 4 properties I have enquired about. The email I receive doesn't even make grammatical sense and I am unsure what they are trying to say regarding having my details. Very poor service and will not be enquiring about any properties with them in future.
