I made an enquiry about a rental property. Initially the staff were very friendly and helpful but that only lasted until I informed them that I wouldn't be able to take up the lease due to the timescale the landlady wanted. Since then their eagerness to help has completely vanished (despite being registered on their prospective tenancy list) which only leads to the perception that they aren’t really genuine when it comes to finding the right property for renters. Perhaps for them it is just about the money. Thankfully we aren’t short of letting agents in Amersham - though decent ones are hard to come by. Sadly, despite their claims to the contrary, Hydegate are not one of them.
