We have a rental property next to us that is unfortunately let out by Hodders. The current tentants are heavy drug users (all day long), in particular cannabis which often comes through the walls and floorboards stinking out oir family home. We tipped Hodders off about the drug use and smoking in the house. I even had to complain to the tenants with smoke bellowing out of the door when they answered. Received a very rude and patronising email from Hodders basically calling us liers and that the smell was incense sticks and if drugs were present to take it up with the police as it was not their problem even though they call themselves property managers. We have since spoken to the police, the house and tenants are now known to them along with the letting agents details.

I have had numerous issues since I moved into my property. Nothing has been resolved and now it's been 4 months. The customer service has been appalling, with no valid action points or responses, and been missold the property. After speaking to numerous members - Matt, josh, Kate, and now the lettings director Andrew I still have no hot water or heating. Absolutely shocking and disgusted in Hodders. It is disgusting behaviour, I feel once I have signed the contract and paid the money they don't give a damn crap about their customers. I do not recommend them at all. Awful.

if i could leave NO star i would, i rented a house off them for 3 years and to say they did nothing the house or to help when there issue is an understatement, they even let themselves in the house to rip up the kitchen floor and left me without a kitchen floor for months... would never use them again or recommend them to anybody.... worse estate agent in the whole area... be warned......

Mr Curtis followed us swearing until the door body language was saying ready to fight. Feel sorry for the director for keeping staff like him in the business. Curtis is extremely rude person with aggressive nature Also requesting you to think twice before choosing them for any business ,Aggressive staff avoid Mr Curtis

We completed on our new purchase with Hodders Egham yesterday, We have been dealing with Curtis and Harry.This our second home and were assured by the agents that the house will be cleaned to a satisfactory standard. However house provided by me in complete mess. I was promised by the agents that the vendor will out by 3.30pm but vendor did not vacate till 8pm, we were standing outside our new home from 3pm to 8 pm with my 18 month baby Also estate agent never bother to come at the property to hand over the key to check any issue. we had to go to his office for key collection while vendor was in the property. During the sales process I was given gentleman promise by Mr Curtis that you will get clean house.When I asked him house is full of CAT litter smell ..where is gentleman promise gone.His answer was extremely rude...we had bit of discussion he asked me to leave the office. Mr Harry handed the key but vendor was still in the property trying remove their stuff...Mr Curtis followed us swearing until the door body language was saying ready to fight. As a tenant I have made calls over issues since January, empty promises of return calls which never happen. Lies are plentiful, excuses free flowing, responsibility varies from lip service at best to non existent. Promises of change but it's never going to happen. Arrogant to the extreme

Absolute rubbish service.. Unprofessional staff who lie and only protect the interests of their greedy landlords. If you have an endless pot of money Hodders will bend over backwards. Would never use again and will certainly circulate my experience far and wide.
