A very professional and personal service with a friendly touch. I would recommend the hard working team without hesitation as I always felt in good hands and when things got a little wobbly for me this was managed in a calm and effective way. Even after completion they were always happy to help. My dog still insists on an almost daily visit ! I would not hesitate in using James Anderson again.

Barnes Sales Office

I have bought and sold through Sarah in Barnes, and highly recommend her and the team if you are choosing who to sell through. She works professionally on behalf of the vendor, as an agent should ( and I've experienced otherwise). The whole team worked so hard on my sale, and got me my asking price, despite it being a new high for those properties. They took the time to give opinions on what improvements would help my sale, beforehand, and gave me regular feedback on viewings. Sarah is passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, making time to explain the market conditions, local trends, and show you graphs and stats on her screen. I am looking to buy again- this office stays in touch, with appropriate suggestions, based on getting to know me very well. A truly intelligent, personal and friendly approach. This is one estate agent that the High Street and community would be much worse off without. Always a lovely welcome for me and my dog, Uma whenever we pop in.

Why we chose James Anderson -People: Jack Gardiner and Sarah Douglas were my main points of contact for selling my property. They seemed professional, dedicated and kept the conversation on my level. -Pricing: They were competitive in comparison to the 3 other estate agents based in Barnes. What was good about James Anderson during the sales process -Honesty and transparency: Plain speaking, no non-sense advice with regards to potential buyers, provided realistic timelines and accommodated my requirements when it came to communicating with the buyer. -Dedicated: A lot of time and effort went on behind the scenes to sell my property. Whilst the transaction itself is relatively painless, a lot of coordination is required between solicitors, the buyer and the seller. James Anderson played an important role in making this process as fast as possible. Where James Anderson could improve -Communication: The time taken to sell my property was probably longer than average for Barnes.. More proactive status updates would have been appreciated as I had to call and email the office, leaving messages as agents were often dealing with other customers.. Using mobile phones with email connectivity would allow more timely communication (less delay) for urgent queries.
