Everything worked out pretty well and the agent that helped us with the documents and with pretty much everything was very calm and explained everything to us very clearly. In other words a very wonderful experience.

Very Happy

Very happy with Landmark. I live abroad and every time I visit the UK, I am happy with the state of he property. All maintenance issues are dealt with promptly and I am informed of everything. My rent statements are sent to me promptly & the rent is always on time. I have had bad experiences in Hounslow with a few agents before - very disorganised and extremely unprofessional agents - but Landmark have been great. Good work guys

Really happy with the agent

I am really happy the way Johnny & Deep talked me through letting my property and I am really happy with my tenant. The tenant doesn't have my phone number as I wanted full management and my life has been made very easy. The property is inspected regularly and the tenants treat my property as if it was their own home. I have recommended Landmark to all my friends and family. A great agent XXXXX

Not so pro!

These were my previous letting agent, and between them and my landlady I had the worst of housing experiences.. They promised me a long let (12 - 18 months), but only permitted me a tenancy for 6 months. They still insisted that if I signed there'd be no problem staying as long as I wanted on a periodic tenancy. The landlady decided to sell the property after a few months and I was assured that it would be sold with me as a tenant. As soon as I'd assisted with the viewings and a buyer was found, I was given my notice to move out on exactly the 6 month tenancy expiry.. Quite simply - I was lied to. Repairs weren't done.. Safety regulations were flouted. I had to pro-act and replace broken smoke and carbon dioxide detectors! My deposit wasn't protected when it should have been, and I struggled to get information and copies of the certificates required. in fact the ones I did receive were after about 4 months!!! The landlady offered to return me a months money, but was told by the letting agents not to, and then refused to talk to me. When I managed to talk to her, she denied saying it, but then said she'd been told not to, even though she'd put pressure on me to allow all sorts of viewings, for builder friends, estate agents(3) and prospective viewers. Johnny and Deep were very nice when I first met them, but really didn't care for getting things done. The place was even dirty when I took it over, and when I complained and returned the keys so some small jobs could be done and the cleaning done properly, when the keys were given back to me - not all had been done and the place was still dirty. I was told there was an inventory - but I never saw it. When the drains flooded and my belongings were getting damaged, I really had had enough. Deep did get someone to sort it out the next day, thankfully. But most of everything else that I needed done, and the fact that they were flouting laws was basically fobbed off and I got the run-around. I felt very hard done by. I believe that either themselves or the landlady suspected before the start of the let that they would be selling shortly, and still allowed me to believe that I could if I wished stay there for up to 18 months. When I was finding it difficult to find somewhere to go to by the end of the notice, they were quick to inform me that if I was late paying my rent or didn't move out by that date, they would take action against me immediately. When I did get offered somewhere prior to the notice date and asked them about it, it was ignored. However, I'm over the fact that they forced me to move twice within 6 months with all my furniture and belongings and the costs involved, I'm very happy to have found a lovely charming up to date 2 bed cottage not too far away from their 2 bed run down terrace where I had no peace of mind over dodgy plumbing, illegal electrics, unreliable heating, broken smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, doors that were broken and safe/unsafe back boiler. In the long run it's worked out well, because I feel safe now in a place that feels like a home, and I'm paying the same money per month. Amazing! So to sum it up; Landmark in my experience are untrustworthy, un-professional, greedy, over-priced and two-faced. There are plenty of decent letting agents out there who know their job, and do it. Do not put youself through this misery! Good luck!
