I bought my house recently through Adam at Curchods. He was very involved throughout the stressful procedure. He chased my solicitor every week to ensure everything went smoothly and communicated efficiently between us and the seller. He was also able to give many useful advise as he's a local expert! Having had a failed attempt at selling our property previously (due to a very bad experience with a previous agent) we were extremely pleased with the service at Matthew James. Matthew was extremely knowledgeable at the front end and gave great guidance re pricing and marketing the property. Once we had a buyer , James was then an absolute professional chasing the process through (with some thorny lease issues to be addressed and slightly over zealous solicitors in the mix). All the guys in the office are great communicators, always ensuring we knew what was happening with potential buyer viewings and organising these in a considerate way. Messages/emails were always responded to in a timely way. Having had the previous difficult experience of trying to sell, we were not looking forward to the whole process but we felt in very safe hands throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend using Matthew James and will only use them in the future when the time comes.

We bought a house in April 2016 marketed by Hawes & Co on Surbiton High Street. It was a great experience. Greg McHugh and his team were excellent. We obviously didn't choose them - the sellers did - but we're glad they did. Everyone we dealt with in the office was professional, knowledgeable and courteous and they clearly worked hard to manage expectations on both sides and get the result everyone was looking for. Greg's approach was noticeably different to other agents who had contributed to our decision to walk away from several other properties. No pressure tactics, no mind games, he just got on with the business of facilitating the negotiations, keeping everyone informed and keeping everything on track. We have no hesitation in recommending Greg and his team and will be using them when it's time to make the next move.
