Choosing Ellis & Co is a SMART MOVE! When we decided to put our house on sale, we met a few local agents before finalising. But after meeting Howard again, after 4 years reminded us of the pleasant memories we had gone through - whilst buying this house. It was indeed Howard who had helped us secure the house, the only change this time was going to be, that he was going to make the sale on our behalf. After handing the sale to Howard we were completely comfortable that we could get on with our routine rather than worry about the sale, after all we knew we had the quintessential top man in the business on our side! We quickly received offers in the first week of going on the market and accepted the sensible one, in the first week itself. The sale was proceeding well with an exchange date of 2 months after being considered as plausible in the chain. However, at the end of the second month, one of the parties on the onward purchase fell through on the very last day of exchange. Had it been anyone else we would have panicked. However, we had Howard on our side, he was incredibly responsive and always available to answer our questions, he immediately brought his back up plan in action and we were back, negotiating sale with another interested buyers. They never pushed us to make a decision we weren't ready for and truly wanted what was best for us.
