We have just purchased our first property through Hunters Solihull and right from day one the team were the ONLY individuals looking after us throughout the whole process. Peter showed us around the property, he was lovely, very professional but not obnoxious or pushy like many estate agents we have experienced in the past! He was willing to answer any questions we had and his responses were very honest and helpful, he made the house viewing a very pleasant experience. Once we put our offer in and had it accepted Ellie then began contacting us to get the ball rolling, we let her know we were first time buyers and her response was "don't worry, we will look after you" she wasn't lying, constantly keeping us informed, helping us chase our solicitors, helping with queries etc etc. We had updates from the team informing us of what was going to happen during lockdown, once lockdown was over Julie contacted us straight away to get the purchase moving again and she was fantastic, once again helping us chase solicitors, speaking to the vendor and responding promptly. We assumed the process would take a lot longer to complete due to covid-19 (which is understandable) but nope, hunters were straight on it and within a couple of weeks after lockdown was over, we were signing contracts! As a first time buyer, I was not expecting to be looked after as well as we were by the estate agents selling the property but Hunters Solihull provided 5 star customer service. The only thing I will advise future customers is to trust Hunters when they offer there solicitors & services. Unfortunately, we were reluctant to go with an estate agents solicitor as we assumed it's just another ploy for them to earn more money and so we found our own solicitor through a mortgage advisor. However, this led to us ending up with a lazy solicitor that simply could not be bothered - Hunters Solihull did a lot more work and chasing then he ever did! Looking back, I wish I had put more trust in hunters, I genuinely don't believe they would accept inadequate solicitors to work alongside them.
