Having placed our house for sale in the hands of Manchester Estate Agents we were not anticipating that this would lead to so many problems during the following year, none of which I must add were the fault of Manchesters. The final purchaser had been one of the first to view the property and declared his interest from the start. However during the following year the problems that he caused, together with his solicitors and estate agent by way of miss stating his own situation in respect of selling his property to a Land Developer, claiming his mothers house was still in probate, not being able to place the 10% initial deposit, failing to complete on the stated day as well as telling downright untruths either from himself or his estate agent led us to believe that he would never complete the purchase. However due to the determination, patience and expertise of James Manchester and his staff, we eventually were able to complete nearly a year after the buyer had shown interest in the property. As a point of interest and what caused considerable concern was that the buyer had only visited. the property on one occasion and had only stayed for about half an hour! We would certainly recommend Manchesters in every respect although I am sure they would not want another situation like this to arise in the future!
