LHW stands for Lack of communication, High prices for low services and a history in trying to “extort” highest price. Many times I found myself prompt emails asking to pay double amount of my rent, being labeled as a rent arrears, simply due to their lack of professionalism and without their proof check. I really didn’t want to be another one to review this agency with the lowest rate possible, but they are making all they can to earn this one star. Not to mention weeks long waiting time for emails to be replied, poor maintenance solution for the house (we have been fighting with a hazardous mound problem for months before the agency sent one person to look at it and not taking any action; we moved in our house that was left in poor cleaning condition and with failing electrical appliance.) and as a cherry on top we have been charged for a bills included plan with fiber network and after 4 months complaining about the internet speed(2mb max) I had to research and prove the availability of the service in the area and only then they admit to have overcharge us but we are still with a frozen refund. HELP YOURSELF AND AVOID A YEAR OF STRUGGLE BY AVOIDING THIS AGENCY.

Thank you for your feedback Luca. As you are aware we did have issues allocating your rent due to the incorrect references being used which did mean that we did not recognise your payment. This was resolved once we received the correct information. We did react to maintenance within the correct time scales when it was reported, our team did attend the property on multiple occasions and I can provide you with the audit log for the property if required. You did voluntarily choose to enter into a utility package, it does state that the fastest available internet would be provide. Unfortunately in Falmouth many areas do not yet have access to fiber broadband. We did also find that excessive devices being connected had an impact on your speed. This was a voluntary package and you were able to source your own if preferred. I understand that you have just vacated the property and there are some disagreements with regards to deposit. They sent my tenancy agreement to a phishing email and then didn't tell us despite it being a serious breach of personal data protection (I only found out because they CCd in my housemate and we got responses from the phishing email). Edit: attached a funny email reaction to me leaving a review from Sophie Lang (whom replied to this review).

Not impressed with their lack of professionalism.

Continuously overbooking viewings and then telling us our viewing has been cancelled hours beforehand because the property has been let. If you're already processing applications... Why keep booking viewings? It's unprofessional and stressful. Many half days off wasted.

This company doesn't do what they say they do. They don't inspect properties on behalf of landlords. They are all about making the most money for doing the least amount of work. If you are a tenant and want to wreck your house and never see your agent, choose this lot. If you are a landlord, be aware. They are awful.

Terrible, say they're going to fix problems and then don't ,called their 24 hour emergency line and they didn't answer, gave me the wrong keys to the house, unprofessional, terrible experience

Moving in is a daunting experience, with little to no help from LHW this process was a lot more stressful. They lack huge communication between staff and customers. I advise nobody, especially students, to proceed with Lewis Haughton Wills.
