Our personal experience is one of great professionalism, diplomacy, genuinely nice people to deal with. As with many properties i'm sure, we had a couple of issues that came along with the sale of our property. These were dealt with by Lara, John and Amanda with ease. The attentiveness is something that sticks in my mind, always kept up to speed with any movement, however small it may be. To me that's important, good communication is key. After my brother-in-law moved into a nursing home in August last year, I had to arrange to sell his house fairly urgently. Thanks to John, Amanda and Laura things went very smoothly and, while it took some time due to the state of the market, I was always kept in the picture as to progress. Completing the sale involved a number of jobs outside of the usual, which, as I live some way from Bookham, were difficult for me to do. I asked for John's help and he handled these without any problems. He then kept on top of completion and exchange, despite having to work from home, due to the' lockdown'. I sent a website enquiry and was contacted literally immediately and an appointment made the next day. The following morning I had the energy survey done, a walk through video and all details and photographs taken. One day later the viewings commenced ... after 3 days of viewings, which were all hosted by Lara, I had several full price offers. Lara personally checked every offer out thoroughly establishing who had a chain and what positions everyone was in. This was all 4 days before Christmas during a pandemic. Windows and internal doors were left open and Lara sanitised every surface touched. I would not hesitate to recommend this local, family run business of 25 years to anyone hoping to sell their home. Recently completed sale under difficult lockdown conditions when all the key people seemed to be on furlough or otherwise unable or unwilling to respond promptly. This family business who are clearly well informed about the local area and well connected with the shakers and movers who make things happen, kept their eyes on the ball for a successful completion despite the opposing forces.
