I am an owner of an apartment where unfortunately there is a service charge. When I purchased the property some fourteen years ago I didn't mind the service charge that was being asked. However over the years the charge has increased considerably and there is no cap to it at all. The company is supposed to keep the complex to a good standard but that is not so. We are told that there is not enough money in the pot for doing this yet when they send their report out to the apartment owners, you can see that there is always enough in the pot to pay for accountant and solicitors fees, no to mention admin fees. The service charge is now over a thousand pounds per year.

Quarterly financial reviews are held and booked well in advance, regular site visits undertaken and prompt responses to queries are always received from our Property Manager.. The annual Service Charge budgeting process is handled professionally. I highly recommend their services

Mr Rory Daly, disgusting incompetence of your staff

SDL Bigwood are the holding company responsible for maintenance charges on a site where I own property, all bills are always paid up to date yet today received a letter asking for fees of £60 on top of the already paid bill. On discussion , within 3 mins the payment was allocated and had been cashed over 3.5 weeks ago before this robbing company sent out a demand!! Total incompetence as they do not ever do the maintenance to an acceptable standard. Total unacceptable robbing demanding harassment of customers who otherwise would not have anything to do with a management company, but at the next agm it will be discussed as to who they were actually appointed by
